Shipping policy
CUSTOMS/DUTY & TAXES FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Orders are shipped from our regional fulfillment hub swftbox in Dubai, U.A.E. You will receive WhatsApp shipment updates directly on the number you’ve provided. Customs authorities in other countries may charge import taxes/duties in accordance with local regulations. These are not included in our prices and must be paid by the customer upon delivery. If your number is not registered on WhatsApp, don’t worry, you can use the tracking page here to get updates on your shipment.
DELIVERY ESTIMATES AND CHARGES
Prices shown below are for delivery charges based on the package weight and destination.
UAE: (1–2 days): AED 40–100 (11–27 USD), depending on the package weight.
GCC: (3–5 days): AED 40–100 (11–27 USD), depending on the package weight.
Other Countries (5–7 days): AED 100–275 (27–75 USD), depending on the package weight.
Delivery timelines are estimates provided by our swftbox and delays may occur that are out of our control (e.g. due to weather conditions or customs clearance delays).
IMPORTANT NOTES ON DELIVERY CHARGES:
Shipping costs will be calculated at check-out based on the package weight and destination. The delivery charge is non-refundable, and the cost of delivery cannot be used as a reason for return once the order is placed.
RETURNS
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with the product sealed, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
REFUNDS
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@theskitchen.com.
For international shipments, if the courier company is unable to deliver after three attempts, we can refund the product fees. However, please note that return and customs clearance fees are non-refundable.
PRODUCT RETURN POLICY FOR FOOD ITEMS
Products Not Eligible for Return: Food items cannot be returned if they are of acceptable quality and free from defects. Returns due to personal preference (e.g. taste or smell) are not permitted.
Products Eligible for Return or Exchange: Items with defects (e.g. expired products, damaged packaging, or spoilage). Products delivered incorrectly (e.g. wrong item sent). Products sold below promised quality standards.
Return Conditions: Returns are only accepted with a receipt or proof of purchase. Inspection or proof of defect (e.g. photos) may be required by the seller. Return timelines vary based on store policy but typically range from 3–7 days for defective items.
Store-Specific Policies: Many companies in Dubai enforce stricter policies for food and beverage returns than mandated by law. Some brands do not accept returns for food products unless they are defective or expired. These terms are aligned with our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction while adhering to Dubai’s consumer protection laws.
